Greetings Spirited Ultimate Players:

Would you like to explore how the principles of self refereed sports can influence other areas of society?
The World Spirit of the Game Foundation was conceptualized in 2017 and launched in 2019 and in 2021 has spread to 65 countries around the world so far. One of our main Pillars is creating a global social movement based on SotG as the world’s first “crowd-sourced life philosophy”.
And we’d like the help of passionate Ultimate players from across Arizona to prototype SotG Discussion Groups within their teams. At least once a month we’ll be hosting an online support call with 1-2 delegates from each team which chooses to participate.

We’ll discuss how to facilitate SotG based discussions on serious societal topics(these can be online or in person, as Covid/winter allows), as well as best practices and challenges in promoting the groups, and on how to engage both the Ultimate community and include others from outside the community.

To join the Arizona cohort of Discussion Group leaders, please email and also please take a tour of our website to see all the various ways we are using SotG to positively influence society.

We are planning to start 1 or more SotG Clubs at University of Arizona in 2022. These might be new organizations or a partnership with an existing club along any of the following themes:
A) Women’s Empowerment
B) Social Entrepreneurships
C) Youth Leadership
D) Community Service

If we are able to identify existing clubs for each of those themes which are closely enough aligned with our principles and approaches, the U of Arizona SotG Club would simply act as an umbrella organization for the partner clubs, helping to coordinate activities.

We are also talking with the Career Advising Center regarding our Impactful Career Advising offerings

We will be launching the first City Chapters of the global Impactful Business Network in Europe in early 2022 with the US to follow soon after. We are looking for City Managers for at least Tucson and Phoenix, and possibly other cities.

In what other ways might the Spirit of the Game Foundation and our global network positively impact Arizona society?

Please share your ideas via email:

SotG Foundation Overview

The World Spirit of the Game Foundation was formed to help individuals and organizations take Personal Accountability for their Impact on the world.

Our organization has spread to 30+ countries so far just in 2021 and there are 4 main Pillars of the organization, with each individual or organizational member choosing for themselves how many of these areas they wish to contribute to.

1) Developing SotG as the world’s first “crowd-sourced” life philosophy which both provides individuals with an internal framework for choosing a different definition of winning and as a Social Movement which provides the external framework that helps like minded individuals and organizations around the world maximize their positive impact on society.

2) An Impact Coaching division to help raise funds for the non-profit work, and which now has a wide range of offerings for universities, as well as for corporations, SMEs, and start-ups.

3) Typical NGO work which includes applying for grants on Youth Leadership, Women’s Empowerment, and Entrepreneurial support, among others, as well as organizing global initiatives and supporting other NGOs

4) A global Impact Network of “disruptors of dysfunctional systems” that consists of individuals and organizations from the worlds of non-profit, social enterprise, for profit, academia and government.

Here is a full video overview of these 4 pillars as well as a deeper explanation of the long term goals of the organization/movement.
