SotG BIG IDEAS Online Hackathons

“Do YOU have a Big Idea about a way to make the world a better place? But are you lacking the bandwidth, the network, or the professional resume to make it happen?”

If so, bring your Big Idea to the next SotG BIG IDEA online Hackathon. If your application is accepted, We’ll match you up with several other participants who also have an idea for that general area of society and over the next 3 hours (approximately) you’ll compare notes on networks, brainstorm on possible next steps, and each group will select one BIG IDEA, or ideally a combination of the ideas from that group, and present it to the audience and judges.
Top ideas will be featured on SotG social media, including our blog and upcoming podcast and potentially even added to our Global Menu of initiatives. We do want to be clear that we’re looking for big, long term projects, ideally which tackle root causes of societal dysfunction, not just dealing with surface issues.
Switzerland now has SotG teams starting in enough cities that we can organize this as a proper tour with the same event in a different city every 1-2 months, as well as some rural or mountain retreats. We could also have some events themed for specific areas of society such as Women’s Empowerment, Climate&Sustainability, etc.
