Co-Chairing a SotG DIVISION

Spirit of the Game is now working on a variety of societal issues, most of which fall into one of these Divisions:

  • Women’s Empowerment
  • Youth Leadership
  • Entrepreneurial Support
  • Changing Corporate Culture
  • Climate & Sustainability
  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • Creative Impact
  • Careers With a Purpose & Career Transition
  • Academia/University Life
  • Long Term Societal Impact thinking

We are looking for Co-Chairs for each of these Divisions, ideally 2-5 people for each, with at least 1 being a student or recent graduate.

Responsibilities of the Co-Chairs (we estimate a total time commitment of 6-10 hours per month):

At least 1 Co-Chair for each Division should be present at the monthly or bi-weekly Global Council(GC) meetings.

At least 1 Co-Chair should be present for the Working Group(WG) meetings which take place in between those GC meetings.

The Co-Chairs are responsible for setting the agendas of the WG meetings and preparing a short summary of each meeting to share at the GC meetings.

In addition Co-Chairs should communicate with SotG partners and potential partners related to their divisions, and help keep communication flowing between all the contributors in that space.

If you are interested in a deeper dive into how we see some of these divisions evolving in the future, with blogs, conferences, etc. please visit this page

To apply to Co-Chair a SotG Division, please email SotGFoundation@gmail.com. And while passion and dedication is more important than experience, we do also encourage all of our Co-Chairs to think about ways they can use the SotG platform to advance their own initiatives, whether it is an on-going project, or a project that they have not had the network or resources to tackle on their own.

Can you imagine a world where 'How much can I get away with' was replaced with 'How much good can I eventually do?
